Global Creative Industries

Capstone Experiences

All students complete a capstone project in year four in their chosen pathway of study (1. Film & Media Communications; 2. Gaming & Digital Humanities; 3. Visual Arts, Heritage & Museum Studies; and 4. Music & Performing Arts). The project is the culmination of the BA programme and integrates knowledge and skills acquired in the first three years of the programme. The capstone requires a minimum of 6 credits and will be individually tailored to match the needs of each student. Each capstone must include a substantial research component. It can also include creative output or be related to a wide range of applied experiences such as internship, field work, or work-study. Students are encouraged to develop their capstone project in relation to one of their industry experience courses.
